The club desires to cultivate and pass on to future generations the industrious spirit of the Italian people for the ultimate benefit of all Australians, by providing social, educational, cultural and recreational activities.

The Italian Social Club Altona was founded on 26th November 1976.
Since then it has become a social centre for the community who share a common pursuit of friendship and exchange of Italian experience and culture.
Our committee
Our club Committees are all established to help us provide our members, family and friends with the best possible experience when visiting our facilities.
Our club consists of a Main Committee of Management, a Pensioner’s Committee, Ladies Committee & Saint Nicola Committee.

What a day to celebrate Italian traditions! Made even better by enjoying the music from the great band Romanza, dancing the afternoon away and enjoying the wonderful meal from our Cucina. A big thank you to all who attended, our volunteers and all the Cucina, bar and ice cream servers.
Che giornata fantastica per celebrare le tradizioni italiane! È stata resa ancora più speciale dalla musica della grande band Romanza, dai balli che hanno animato il pomeriggio e dal pranzo squisito preparato dalla nostra Cucina. Un sentito ringraziamento a tutti i partecipanti, ai nostri volontari e a tutto il personale di cucina, bar e gelateria.
