The club desires to cultivate and pass on to future generations the industrious spirit of the Italian people for the ultimate benefit of all Australians, by providing social, educational, cultural and recreational activities.

The Italian Social Club Altona was founded on 26th November 1976.
Since then it has become a social centre for the community who share a common pursuit of friendship and exchange of Italian experience and culture.
Our committee
Our club Committees are all established to help us provide our members, family and friends with the best possible experience when visiting our facilities.
Our club consists of a Main Committee of Management, a Pensioner’s Committee, Ladies Committee & Saint Nicola Committee.

Over the past five decades, our club has grown from a small gathering of visionaries into a thriving community. We owe a massive debt of gratitude to the leaders who have guided us through the years, setting the standard for excellence and ensuring our club remains a cornerstone for everyone involved.
While it is important to reflect on our rich history, we are grateful for the continued support of our committee, members, guests and volunteers - ensuring our next chapters promise to be even brighter.

Dobbiamo un immenso ringraziamento ai leader che ci hanno guidato nel corso degli anni, stabilendo standard di eccellenza e assicurando che il nostro club rimanga un punto di riferimento per tutti coloro che ne fanno parte.
